Exhibiting at London Art Fair

Main Fair

Now entering its 23rd year, London Art Fair is the UK’s largest Modern British and contemporary art fair. Established in 1988, the Fair encompasses over one-hundred rigorously selected galleries presenting Modern British and international contemporary art.

Attracting 23,219 visitors, London Art Fair gives galleries the opportunity to renew relationships with existing clients and develop significant new contacts early in the New Year.  Visitors include major collectors and representatives from public and private institutions – museums, galleries and corporate collections – together with well-informed individuals who buy regularly from the Fair.

London Art Fair offers a uniquely welcoming atmosphere for galleries and visitors to meet and do business. Strong marketing ensures a steady flow of visitors with three evening receptions.

The Fair Committee will meet to review applications and allocate Main Fair stands in late April.

A mandatory, non-refundable application fee of £100 plus VAT is due with each Main Fair application submitted. Further details can be found on the application form.

Art Projects

Launched in 2005 Art Projects has established itself as one of the most exciting sections of the Fair. This year it expanded to encompass 27 galleries from London, Belfast, New York, Munich and Dresden alongside public galleries and foundations such as The Whitechapel, ICA and 176 / Zabludowicz Collections Editions.

Art Projects features curated solo and group shows of contemporary work – painting, photography, sculpture, editions – as well as large scale installations, video and film.

“The Art Projects section, which brings together young galleries from London and elsewhere, is refreshingly experimental…a real highlight.”
Evening Standard

“an area which drew unanimous praise was the fair’s Art Projects.”
