London Art Fair 2018

London Art Fair is the UK’s premier Modern and Contemporary Art Fair. Established in 1988, the Fair encompasses over 130 rigorously selected galleries presenting the very finest in Modern and international contemporary art from early 20th century to today.

A platform for discovery, the Fair represents leading UK and international galleries alongside its curated sections showcasing both established and emerging artists from across the globe. The 30th anniversary edition marked the most international edition to date, spanning five continents – attracting galleries from 18 countries — including Germany, New Zealand, Spain, Taiwan and USA. The Fair also reaffirmed the strength of its solid London platform, attracting an engaged collector base and audience. Strong marketing and key partnerships ensure that the Fair delivers strong visitor attendance and serious, targeted collectors for the exhibiting galleries. Visitors include major collectors and representatives from public and private institutions – museums, galleries and corporate collections – together with well-informed individuals who buy regularly from the Fair.

The Fair Committee meets to review applications during the Summer period to allocate Main Fair stands with the final exhibitor list announced at the start of October.

The Main Fair stand rate for London Art Fair 2019 is £364 + VAT per m² for the Ground Floor & Mezzanine and £355 + VAT per m² for Gallery Level. To see what is included in the stand price please click here

Before completing your application, we would like to draw your attention to our Conditions of Participation and make you aware of the mandatory non-refundable application fee of £150 (inclusive of VAT where applicable and £150 for overseas companies) is due prior to submitting your Main Fair application. If your application is successful, £100 of this fee will be offset against the cost of your stand.



After completing the online application, you will automatically be linked to the appropriate email to send the Supporting Information. In order for your application to be considered by the Selection Committee, all the supporting information (images and supplementary material) must be received.


Galleries applying to London Art Fair for the first time should email three images for each of their proposed artists for the Selection Committee to review.Galleries that participated in the 2018 edition only need to send images for new artists that they would like to propose to the Fair. 

A numbered list with captions for all images MUST be included in the email.  Please include the following information in this list: image number, gallery, artist, title, medium, date and dimensions. Please ensure that the images you forward comply with the following specifications.

  • Format: .jpeg or .gif
  • Resolution: 72 dpi
  • Image size: 600 pixels wide
  • File size should not exceed 1 MB
  • All images should be numbered and include both the gallery’s name and artist’s name
  • Each email must not exceed 8MB


Supplementary Material

Please email the following material to support your application:

  1. Gallery profile (to include: brief gallery description, locations, represented artists, exhibition history and art fair participation)
  2. Hanging plan for your proposed stand presentation
  3. If you are proposing new artists to the Fair, please include a CV of each respective artist
  4. If you are applying to the Fair for the first time, please submit 3 exhibition images from previous gallery installations
