London Art Fair 2019

London Art Fair is the UK’s premier Modern and Contemporary Art Fair. Established in 1988, the Fair encompasses over 130 rigorously selected galleries presenting the very finest in Modern and international contemporary art from early 20th century to today.

A platform for discovery, the Fair represents leading UK and international galleries alongside its curated sections showcasing both established and emerging artists from across the globe. The 31st edition of the Fair welcomed 130 leading international galleries, a balanced mix of longstanding exhibitors and several new additions from the UK, Europe and further afield countries including South Korea, Japan, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Lithuania, Russia and Canada. The Fair also reaffirmed the strength of its solid London platform, attracting an engaged collector base and audience. Strong marketing and key partnerships ensure that the Fair delivers strong visitor attendance and serious, targeted collectors for the exhibiting galleries. Applications are now open for the 32nd edition of London Art Fair in January 2020.

The Fair Committee will meet to review applications and allocate main fair stands from April 2019, with the final exhibitor list announced at the start of October.

The Main Fair stand rate for London Art Fair 2020 is £376 + VAT per m² for the Ground Floor & Mezzanine and £364 + VAT per m² for Gallery Level. To see what is included in the stand price please click here

Before completing your application, we would like to draw your attention to our Conditions of Participation and make you aware of the mandatory non-refundable application fee of £155 (inclusive of VAT where applicable and £155 for overseas companies) is due prior to submitting your Main Fair application. If your application is successful, £100 of this fee will be offset against the cost of your stand.



After completing the online application, you will receive an email from us reminding you of all the supporting information that you need to send us. In order for your application to be considered by the Selection Committee, all the supporting information must be received by us.

Supporting Information required:

1. Images

Galleries applying to London Art Fair for the first time should email 3 images of each of their proposed artists for the Selection Committee to review.Galleries that participated in the 2019 edition only need to send images for new artists that they would like to propose to the Fair. 

All images need to be labelled with accurate captions, you can either include the caption in the name of the image file or send us a list.  Please include the following information in the captions: Gallery name, artist, title, medium, date and dimensions. Please ensure that the images you forward comply with the following specifications:

  • Format: .jpeg or .gif
  • Resolution: 72 dpi
  • File size should not exceed 2 MB
  • All images should be sent as attachments not as part of the email body.

2. Gallery profile (Include: brief gallery description, locations, represented artists, exhibition history and art fair participation).

3. Hanging plan for your proposed stand presentation (Refer to any of these stand types).

4. Artists CVs 

5. Exhibition images from previous gallery installations or fair participation (3 Images minimum).
