Whilst we were unable to run London Art Fair in its usual format at the Business Design Centre, we remained focused on delivering a unique opportunity to discover and champion the most outstanding Modern and Contemporary Art of our time.

For the 33rd edition, the Fair presented 63 leading Modern and Contemporary galleries in an alternative digital format: London Art Fair: Edit.

From 20 – 31 January (VIP Preview 18 – 19 January), we welcomed you to browse through online Viewing Rooms, Artsy online catalogue and an exceptional programme of digital talks, panel discussions and events.

The Fair’s alternative model continued to nurture collecting at all levels, from major works exhibited by internationally renowned artists such as; Ivon Hitchens, L.S Lowry, Henry Moore and Alexander Calder; to emerging and contemporary artists; Abe Odedina, Olivia Bax, Mona Broschar and Paola Ciarska. The Viewing Rooms will remain open until Wednesday 31 March 2021.

It is with much sadness that we will be cancelling London Art Fair 2021, due to take place at the Business Design Centre, Islington from 20 – 24 January 2021.

As part of the recent Government announcement and updated guidelines; the previously proposed go date of 1 October for organised live events to take place has now been withdrawn. As with all the increased restrictions that have been announced, the indication is that these will be in place for the next six months and it is therefore with the deepest regret that we must accept that it is no longer viable for us to run London Art Fair at the Business Design Centre in January 2021.

We know this will be disappointing for all involved and we would like to thank you, our exhibitors and contributors for your ongoing support.

If you have booked a ticket to London Art Fair 2021, you will receive a full refund on your ticket purchase. Emails have been sent to the lead booker from both the London Art Fair and from SEE Tickets, please check your inbox for more information.

In the meantime, we are now looking towards alternative formats for us to bring our Fair community together in both digital and physical platforms and look forward to sharing further details very soon.

This would have been our 33rd edition and we hope to continue to lean on our strong heritage and resilience: to innovate and collaborate with our loyal Fair community to sustain us through these challenges.
