Andrew Litten depicts the fragility of life with emphasis on the recent world crisis.

His large scale figurative paintings, bronze sculpture and mixed media works on paper are unguarded and raw with nerves and emotion.

An exhibition of diptychs and pairings invoking the power of two. Summer Reflections reveals a deeper understanding of the artist’s intention, as this double act creates an experience that enhances their narratives.

A new generation of artists have revitalised the expressive potential of figuration, charging their vibrant canvases with a social and political undertow. The colourful nature of these paintings after months of sombre narrative is uplifting.
