Nunnery Gallery presents: The Scarecrow by Marcus Orlandi
In his performances Marcus Orlandi, Nunnery Gallery uses banal and everyday objects and actions in an attempt to break down societal norms and boundaries. He creates works that explore themes of masculinity, patriarchy and control in playful and absurdist ways. The Scarecrow is a new work that looks at the outsider coming in from the wilderness, forced to adapt to the capitalist trappings of exploitative labour.
