Working with both established names and early-career artists, our mission statement is centred on expanding opportunities for artists to gain wider international exposure and visibility. Diversity is at the heart of our practice, and we represent artists from multiple generations and cultural backgrounds. This mix facilitates what we see as the true function of art: dialogue across borders, both physical and mental.

Our current ensemble of talent includes 24 inspirational artists, drawn from across the globe with whom we work to shape our collective identity across borders. Our eyes look towards the future, as we aim to not merely ride the waves of current trends, but, alongside our artists, direct those waves to new aesthetic shores.

COMMON SENSE GALLERY is located in a historical building in the heart of Vienna, a building famous for a façade decorated in Jugendstil, with mosaics by Oskar Laske. The space provides an airy backdrop for the art presentations, guaranteeing a special and relaxed atmosphere. We are more than just a gallery and are building a vibrant community for both artists and art lovers in our space.

Our regular gallery programme includes solo and group exhibitions, salons, and events in our exhibition space in Vienna. We are also regular attendees at international art fairs. Key themes we curate include humanity, inclusivity, diversity, interpersonal relations, society, and new age ideas.

Our cycle of work looks towards new themes each season and the artists whose work best embodies them. In 2023 - 2024, our focus is on emerging artists and art school graduates creating work that could be described as vibrant, naive, experimental, en-vogue, vivid, or luminous in colour. We are seeking artwork that ranges from dreamlike figurative pieces to the abstract, that speaks the language of contemporary art spaces and that celebrates colour and material.
