Flux Projects is an artist-led gallery and interdisciplinary collective, co-founded by photographer Merrick d'Arcy-Irvine and Royal Ballet Soloist Hannah Grennell, supporting emerging artists from a range of creative disciplines, notably dance, music, visual art and photography. Our aim is to provide artists a platform to showcase their work, collaborate with each other and connect with people through exhibitions, live events, films and artist-led workshops.

For the 2024 London Art Fair we are delighted to be showcasing 'Photographs of Movement', a selection of photographic works by Anna-Lena Krause, Anouk Jouanne, Ben Cullen Williams, Genevieve Reeves, Isabelle Wenzel and Merrick d'Arcy-Irvine, all of whom work fluidly across a range of media and disciplines, particularly movement-based performance.

Several, such as Anouk Jouanne, Genevieve Reeves and Isabelle Wenzel, are trained dancers or acrobats working with photography, whilst others, such as Anna-Lena Krause, either integrate performance in their photography, as well as video and performance art or, such as in the case of Ben Cullen Williams and Merrick d'Arcy-Irvine, collaborate frequently with dance artists and choreographers, be it in the photographic or virtual recording of movement or the design of performative spaces for dance.

Whether working with digital or analog methods, with or without cameras, such as working gesturally with light-sensitive materials, these artists share a fascination with movement, particularly as expressed through the human body.
