WE GONNE BE ALRIGHT

PABI DANIEL

LONDON, 12 OCTOBER - 9 NOVEMBER

Make sure to stop by Ed Cross Fine Art in Shoreditch to experience the work of Pabi Daniel, one of Ghana’s most exciting emerging artists. Titled We Gonne Be Alright, the exhibition of Daniel’s new work explores conversations surrounding identity, cultural expression, and preservation through the discipline of portraiture.

‘History has been nothing but a cover up when it comes to the story of Africans. The story of my people I feel has always been brushed under the carpet for far too long… so I feel burdened as an artist to lift the carpet up and represent what has always been there – the thriving cultural evolution of my people. My responsibility is not just to make beautiful paintings but to make bold representations that clearly defines the space of black people in our history.’

THE WOMEN'S ART COLLECTION

LIFE IS STILL LIFE

CAMBRIDGE, SEPTEMBER 2022 - FEBRUARY 2023

The Women’s Art Collection, Museum Partner of London Art Fair 2022, is delighted to present an exciting collection of modern and contemporary pieces by women artists exploring the genre of still life.

‘Throughout the history of art, still life has been denigrated and dismissed, largely because of its associations with women and the home. Despite this, still life has been the site of radical experiments with form and meaning and a way for artists to explore broad questions about life, death, gender and the self.’
